BD Neoflon™ Pro IV Cannula

The BD Neoflon™ Pro IV catheter with wing is particularly suitable for venipuncture in neonatology, paediatrics and geriatrics due to its small size. The BD Vialon™ cannula possesses a very high kink resistance and shape recovery and allows for a low-pain puncture. The material of the Vialon cannula becomes softer in the vein, resulting in a longer retention time.

Puncture and advancement in the vein is facilitated and the complication rate is reduced. Thanks to the BD Instaflash™ cannula technology used, vascular entry is immediately confirmed and blood reflux is visible in the reflux chamber. After successful puncture, the wing cover can be removed and the Neoflon™ Pro IV Cannula can be fixed to the patient using the unfolded wings.
